Be Aware – Changing Blog Categories to Match 2024 Editions

 In General, News

Hi all you regular blog users,

I’m sure you know we released new CCNA Official Cert Guides in mid-year 2024. Those books impact this blog because the blog organizes its content to match the book. So… it’s time to change the blog!

Over the next week or so, I’ll update references to the blog categories and menus that refer to the books (Volumes 1 and 2), book parts, and book chapters. Once complete, all menu items will refer to books, book parts, and book chapters based on the new books.

Those of you who own the previous edition books can still use the content here! However, you’ll need to cross-reference from the new edition element numbers to the previous ones. To that end, I’ve made a more permanent page, available in the menu under Reference… Comparing Book Editions. Or just click this link: https://www.certskills.com/comparing-book-editions/.

By the way, the page linked above points out the chapter-level organization changes in the Edition 2 books versus Edition 1. You can find a more specific list of changes in the introduction to each of the books.

Hope you enjoy the new books!

Wendell
