Overview: 2600 XM Series Routers

This model series replaced the original 2600 model series, making hardware improvements. As used gear for certification preparation, the advantage over the non-XM 2600’ is that all XM models have 10/100 ports, all support 802.1Q, all have at least one Advanced Integration Module (AIM) slot, and they support more recent IOS versions. Amongst the 2600XM models listed here, the larger the model number, the higher the packet-per-second rating.
